During the evaluation, we engage your child through clinical observation and carefully selected assessment tools tailored to their individual needs. Depending on what is most appropriate, this may include play-based measures, rating scales, and/or standardized testing. By combining multiple sources of information, we develop a clear, well-rounded understanding of your child’s communication strengths and areas of need.

This allows adequate time to gather background information, administer standardized and informal assessment measures, observe communication skills, and discuss initial impressions and next steps.
